Bronze Hammerhead Shark
The hammerhead shark looks so primitive and mysterious as he slices through the water. The strange head shape is called a "cephalofoil" and is supposed to help the shark see both above and below with 360 degree visibility. The hammerhead is also one of the few animals beside humans that can get a tan!
This hammerhead shark is solid bronze and was made using the ancient lost wax method. We cast in bronze because of the rich patina bronze develops over time. And like the other bronze sea creatures he is a talisman of sorts and in keeping with that, he is a miniature shark with as much detail as I can get. He measures 3 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide and comes with a 24" chain.
